Joshua Collins UTV Accident Obituary-Death: Joshua E. Collins Pronounced Dead After Clayton Crash

Authorities have confirmed the identity of the man killed in a fatal UTV crash that occurred early Monday morning in Clayton, Illinois. The Adams County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 47-year-old Joshua E. Collins of Clayton.

According to Adams County Coroner Scott Graham, Collins was pronounced dead at the scene following a single-vehicle accident. Officials confirmed that a full examination and investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were dispatched to the area near Highway 24 and West Main Street at approximately 12:48 a.m. after receiving reports of a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) crash.

When emergency responders arrived, they discovered an overturned UTV with Collins as the only occupant. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.

Preliminary findings indicate that Collins was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, and authorities also noted that he was not wearing a helmet. Officials emphasized that no other passengers were inside the vehicle and that no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
