Born on November 1, 1985, in Evergreen Park, Justin was the beloved son of Edward and Janet (Sinkauskas) Wojtkowski. He spent his early childhood in Crestwood before moving with his family to Plainfield in 1995, where he formed lifelong friendships and became known for his outgoing personality and ability to bring laughter to those around him.

Justin graduated from Plainfield South High School in the Class of 2004 and later pursued studies at Joliet Junior College, focusing on Industrial Mechanical Maintenance. From an early age, he demonstrated a strong work ethic and an interest in hands-on technical skills that would later shape his professional career.

A proud United States Army veteran, Justin served honorably and was recognized with several commendations, including the Iraq Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. His time in the military reflected his discipline, resilience, and commitment to service—qualities that remained central to his character throughout his life.

After completing his military service, Justin built a career as a Field Mechanic with ExxonMobil, where he was respected for his technical expertise, reliability, and willingness to assist others. Colleagues remember him as someone who could always be counted on in difficult situations, both for his skill and his steady presence.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Justin was deeply devoted to his family, especially his daughter, Marley Wojtkowski of Morris. Loved ones say she was the center of his world, and he took great pride in being a father. Friends describe him as someone who balanced responsibility with humor, often lifting the spirits of those around him even during challenging times.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Wojtkowski, and other close family members.

Family and friends will gather to honor his life on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. and a memorial service scheduled for 6:00 p.m. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
